Well done to all of you that competed in this years Montane Winter spine races. I am raising funds for the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS) again this year. NASS is one of the official Spine Race Charity Partners. The Charity needs funds so it can continue to provide its amazing support to all those suffering with the condition. I took photographs at the start of the Southern Challenger in Edale and close to Snake Pass on Saturday 10th January and at the same places for the Spine race on Sunday 11th January. These photographs can be found in the galleries on this site and purchased via PayPay with all proceeds going to NASS. The photographs on this site have been taken by myself, Gary Hilton. I am a sports photographer based in the NW and am a big Spine Race fan. I also suffer from Axial Spondyloarthritis! Fortunately I currently have the mildest of forms, so am still able to take part in the sports I love- running cycling and swimming. I have taken these photographs in order to raise funds and awareness of the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society. I hope you like them. Photographing the Spine race was especially challenging this year with freezing conditions and horizontal rain blowing in the same direction of the runners making photographing you really difficult, so apologies for anyone that I missed.
