I have enjoyed taking pictures ever since I can remember, and just love all of the possibilities of creative expression that it allows me. It was this passion of a lifetime and a dream come true that created Hilton Photography. As a full-time photographer, I specialize in wedding photography and in creating unique, digital coffee table-style wedding albums. In addition to full-service wedding photography, my services include family portraiture, high school senior portraits, models, action photography and corporate events. I offer a wide variety of ways to present my art, including framed art, calendars, personalized greeting cards, business cards and my own line of note cards. In addition to my regular work, I thoroughly enjoy volunteering my photography skills to organizations throughout the community, such as the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra and the Saginaw Art Museum. While attending classes at the Great Lakes Institute of Photography and at Delta College, I fell in love with black and white print photography, almost to the point of building my own darkroom. However, upon learning about all of the endless possibilities that exist with digital photography, I ultimately decided to focus on that medium and have completely fallen in love! I am currently a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals and the Digital Wedding Forum. I love the process of learning and continue to attend as many seminars as I can in order to keep up to date on the newest technologies, products and trends that I can offer to my clients. My sister, Sandra Mettes, assists me, working as a Lead Associate Photographer. Her talent and style lie in capturing those candid moments that can so easily slip by unnoticed. Sandra has a keen eye for and pays great attention to all of the details. Hilton Photography would be honored and delighted to be chosen to “tell your story.”
